❄️ Looking for some new Winter activities to use in your classroom? ❄️

Hi Reader!

I admit it. Winter is my LEAST favorite season. I hate cold weather and driving in snow and ice. But it is actually one of my favorite seasons to teach in the classroom! I love giving my students the chance to explore the snow and we read some of my favorite picture books each year.

  • I have two sets of Picture Book Communication and Comprehension Supports which includes sample IEP goals, corresponding activities, and progress monitoring sheets. It is a great way to incorporate favorite picture books like The Snowy Day and The Jacket I Wear in the Snow in the classroom while still working on IEP goals.
  • I also have a Thematic Unit for Snow & Winter which includes 12 activities includes recipes, reading, math, science, games, and more! All of the activities are no or low-prep and ready to use right away!

Not sure where to start? I have gotten some great feedback on my The Jacket I Wear in the Snow resource.

Or are you ready to jump right in and do it all? You are in luck because I have a Winter Bundle of all 3 resources mentioned above at a 20% discount. Grab it today and you will be all set for the rest of the season!

For my TPT store, I divided all of my animal activities into thematic units by narrowing down the topic because I know not everyone can cover all 70 activities each year. I created units for Animals & Habitats, Animal...

Hi Reader! The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats is one of my absolute favorite picture books. I love the pictures, the sequence of the story, the mystery of the missing snowball, and all of the great vocabulary I can teach my students as we read. This was actually the very first Communication and Comprehension set I made for my TPT...
