Give THANKS 🙏 for easy thematic lesson plans this November! ðŸĶƒ

Hi Reader!

Can you believe it is already time to teach about Thanksgiving?!

Some of my favorite activities this time of year include:

  • teaching about past and present and making our own "pilgrim ink" ðŸŠķ
  • practicing manners to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner ðŸĶƒ
  • taste testing a variety of Thanksgiving foods at our classroom Thanksgiving feast 🍗
  • and teaching about fractions using pie! 😋ðŸĨ§

To learn more about what Thanksgiving looks like in my classroom, check out my blog post:

Unsure where to start? Grab my Thanksgiving Thematic Unit! Each of my thematic units has 12 different cross-curricular activities to get you started or to supplement your district curriculum such a Unique Learning System. These activities are low and no-prep and engaging!

This month check out:

Did you know I love to get resource requests? Since my mission is making life easier for busy teachers I love the opportunity to create something to meet a teacher's specific needs. Recently, I had a customer contact me with a special request for a product. She was interested in a resource of all of my Weekend Reports in one place. I was happy to help!

  • Weekend Reports: These Weekend Reports for Special Education provide a quick, reliable way to increase communication and facilitate student sharing each week. They also feature Weekly Seasonal and Thematic Question Probes to set the stage for that week's topic of study.
  • Home Communication Bundle: Communication is a huge priority in the special education classroom. This includes communicating with parents and families as well as facilitating communication for students. This Home Communication Bundle for Special Education combines my Weekend Reports and my Differentiated Home-School Communication Worksheets so that you have everything you need for consistent, predictable home communication in one convenient bundle!

Until next time!
